Following the unfortunate cancellation of the annual conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Southern Criminal Justice Association will be holding its first (and hopefully only) all-digital Research Showcase September 8th to 10th, 2020. The Research Showcase will feature Lightning Talks by students and faculty, as well as everyone's favorite--the Poster Competition! Plus, the most competitive submissions in each category will be eligible to win fabulous prizes! Details and eligibility can be found here.
Due to these unusual circumstances, we have waived the registration fee! Not a member? No, problem. Everyone is welcome to attend! Register now. All attendees will receive a collection of SCJA 2020 swag for free as part of your registration. However, only current SCJA members will receive the exclusive SCJA 2020 coffee mug. Make sure your membership status is up-to-date and we have your current shipping address, or if you are not a member, join now!

Feature your research in the Showcase. Visit our submission page to learn how to take part in the Research Showcase and submit your Lightning Talk and/or Research Posters. All submissions must be received by September 1st, 2020. Note that you must still register in order to attend the Showcase even if you submit research.
Finally, regular SCJA attendees know that one of the things that makes us most excited is our ability to donate to a local charity in our host city each year. We are happy to be able to continue this tradition even though we will not be meeting in person. This year we have selected "Feeding the Gulf Coast" a member of Feeding America as this year's charitable organization. We will also be holding our annual charity raffle. Tickets can be purchased at the time of registration, and SCJA will match all donations up to $1,000.
